Oh so thankful!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and start to the Christmas season! Ours was good. Despite Avery and I having a bit of a stomach bug on Wednesday night, we recovered pretty quickly. I was still not feeling great on Thursday - I was really crampy and my back was sore, probably from being up all night. I came home and went to bed around 8:30pm! It was a good thing because Mayci woke up at 3am for the day. Anyway, Jay started on the Christmas lights on Friday and they are almost done. He's had to work both jobs since Friday so he'll be able to finish them up this week. I got the indoor Christmas decorating done today and we just have the tree to go..which we will get this week/weekend.

The night before Thanksgiving, the kids and I decorated some pinecone turkeys, which was a fun project for them. They made them to look like our family, which I thought was cute. Even Mayci got involved.

Joe's turkey!

Pretty Mayci girl on Thanksgiving. I made her this little outfit. Funny thing is that I made her a different skirt originally but something was off with the measurements in the tutorial because, when finished it fit her doll!

On Saturday, I took the kids out to Bass Pro Shops to kick off the holiday season! They have a lot of fun activities for the kids right now, including a free photo with Santa! They had a lot of fun decorating "Santa bobber" ornaments and just hanging out. I will put the picture of Joe & Avery with Santa on as soon as I scan it but Mayci would not have anything to do with him. Oh well!

Mayci LOVED all the little 4 wheelers and golf carts...I had to peel her out of them!

Well, the countdown is officially on for our new arrival! I have been quite busy lately with my business...cards & blocks but I love it! I am also making several Christmas gifts so I am trying to get all that stuff done and finish up in the nursery. In feeling pretty poor on Thursday I did come to the realization that everything may not get done in my timing but I am just excited to enjoy these last few weeks of pregnancy and know it will all come together! Have a great week!
