Following The Fisk's

Hope everyone is doing great! Nothing too new going on around here...just been busy on the to-do list! This past week was productive, I finished the nursery dust ruffle and started the crib bumper and got started on some Christmas gifts. The bunks aren't ready to be set up yet...took more painting than we thought but I think that they will get done this week and so do the boys!!

The weather the past few days has been great. I am hoping fall is here to stay (what is left of it before winter officially hits)! It's nice to have long sleeves and pants on...just so tired of the summer clothing around here, lol! The kids have wanted to be outside all.the.time! It's nice but our yard was lacking so it meant a trip to the park anytime we wanted to do anything. We had decided we would try to get the kids a swingset for Christmas but on Thursday, when I got out of my bible study, Jay had found one on Craigslist that was too good to pass up! It is nothing special..it's one of the old metal kinds and only has swings but that is what the kids just love to do at the park. I am not sure how it will be for summer because it will get hot but the kids have had so much fun playing on it and it will be great for when Ms. Maddi comes along! So, that's our latest & greatest :-)

I am feeling good these days although I really am slowing down. I do not have as much of my evening energy as normal, which is a hard thing for me to accept since that is when I stay up and do my projects! Sad thing is that I am not really going to sleep, I am just vegging in front of the computer or tv, lol!

Fun on the swings! I love the one where Avery is pushing Mayci...such a good big brother (most of the time)!
