Fall is finally in the air!

I have to admit this time of year brings the most sadness about living in Arizona. Fall is my favorite time of year...I love everything about a New England fall. The leaves, the smell, the nurseries with their mums and pumpkins, the apple and pumpkin picking, the breaking out of sweaters, the cooking of anything and everything with pumpkin in it...I could go on for days. I know we have some of those things here but it's just not the same and it's really not the same when you are still in the 100+ degree temps everyday. BUT, it's finally seemed to have broken. I know I should not speak too loudly of this, but one can pray, right?!

Supposedly, yesterday was our last of the 100 degree temps and today my temperature gauge read 85 degrees at 11:30! Yay! Last night we went for a walk to a little ice cream shop in our neighborhood and it was so nice to feel the breeze and not be covered in sweat!

We have been doing well! Nothing really new around here. This week marks my 3rd trimester of pregnancy! I don't know where the time has gone! I am worried about the holidays and getting everything accomplished that I need/want to do but I will do what I can do. Luckily, I am feeling better. My back has not hurt as much this week and I will go to the dr. on Monday to make sure that the kidney/bladder infection are gone.

The kids are excited for Joe's upcoming Fall break. We are hoping to take a day trip somewhere to pick some apples and/or pumpkins and maybe find some changing leaves.

A couple weeks ago, my father in law took pictures of the kids for us..we were LONG overdue! We got some good shots although getting all three kids together is impossible! Avery has never been one for pictures and Mayci is at a tough age. She had a doll with her in most of the pictures and had to be tricked into posing. Oh well, thanks to Pa anyway for bearing with us!
