Following The Fisk's: Fall fun!

This has been a great week full of fun! Joe was on fall break this week and did not have to work his part time job on Thursday and Friday, so we got to spend some great time together as a family as well as some time with friends/cousins.

On Tuesday, we went to Tumbleweed Park for a picnic & playtime. The kids had a lot of fun running around. Mayci absolutely LOVES the swings right now so she wanted to spend her time on the "ming".

On Wednesday, we ventured off to the zoo for the day with the cousins. It is so fun to have them all get together and we had not been there for over 6 months. Mayci liked seeing the animals and the kids even got to play in the cool splash pad that was new the end of last year. A fun time had by all.

On Thursday, Jay, the kids and I headed out to Schnepf Farms...right up the street from our house but still a great time. The kids had a blast getting their faces painted (minus Mayci..she would NOT have it), riding the rides and train and just hanging out. We got there when it was still daylight & closed it down around 9:30pm. Mayci got to ride her first ride, their little Bumblebees and she was so proud. Jay & Joe went on the little roller coaster and Avery loved the airplanes. The train was fun too although we did not know that at 6:30pm, the train ride becomes a "spooky train ride". Everyone did okay except Avery, who got pretty scared. It was just guys jumping out with masks but that is pretty darn scary to a little guy! We had to tell him it was just pretend, etc. but he went on about it all night. Of course, Mayci was saying "more" and "again" and cracking up the whole time. She is our little daredevil girl.
