What a busy month it's been!

Boy, I just don't know where October has gone! Between fall break and the three October birthdays this month, we have been keeping very busy. It's always fun but at the same time, I will be happy to have Halloween festivities behind me and start finishing up the nursery bedding and focusing on our baby girl to be here in just 8 weeks!! It seems crazy to even think that is possible! I am going to the dr. every 2 weeks now and everything looks great. I am measuring completely on time and the plans have not changed to just wait and let Baby Madilyn come when she wants to come. She is very active, especially at night, just as Mayci was. I am curious of her size though because she does seem to poke me a lot more than Avery or Mayci...in all the wrong places! I never really had the kicking hurt this bad, lol! I just can't wait to meet her.

Birthdays! We kicked things off with Nana's birthday, which we celebrated on 10/17 with a cookout at our home. It was so nice for the cousins to play and everyone to get some visiting time. This past Saturday, Avery turned 4 years old! Talk about time flying! It seems I was just in the hospital with him. Avery got a bike for his birthday and is so proud of having a big boy bike! He has passed on his big wheel to Mayci and just thinks he is so cool. It's neat to go on bike rides now because Joe is doing really well without training wheels. It's been a long time coming but he & Jay worked hard over break to get the two wheeler thing down and he is doing good.
We celebrated Avery's actual birthday by taking the kids to Peter Piper. He had been asking about going for a long time. I was dreading it, thinking there would be a lot of sick kids, etc. but it was dead and everyone had a blast.

His family party was on Sunday at the park. It was a beautiful day, despite a little wind and it was nice for the kids to have room to run around and play ball. It was a Star Wars theme and Nana made an awesome lightsaber cake, per his request - thanks again, Nana!!

Tonight wrapped up the birthdays by celebrating Jay's with a chili dinner at our house. Again, a nice evening of visiting and Jay was thrilled to have his Reese's Peanut Butter cake for dessert.

Mayci is doing great too. She has really taken an interest in potty training. I've been letting her wear underwear around the house if I can really stay on her about going and she hasn't had any accidents yet. It's usually still a diaper though. I feel like she would totally potty train but I just think it's early and just the whole public bathroom thing that I went through with Avery, lol. So, we will see. She is just getting so grown up. I am exciting for Halloween with her this year and know she will be right up there with the boys collecting candy!

Well, sorry for such the lapse in posting..it will get better, I am just backed up with stuff! I hope everyone is doing great!

Caramel apple night!

This is Avery and his "Ben 10" doll. He lost most of his tokens in the grabber machine trying to get this guy. I finally asked the Peter Piper people if I could buy it or something. After awhile of them trying to find the keys to open the machine, they got "Ben" out for us and gave it to him for his birthday. He just loves it.
Pretty girl playing

Yeah..Jay on the slide at Peter Piper. Mayci wanted to play up there so bad and she just couldn't by herself so he had to go up!

Avery's little cupcakes (chocolate & chocolate of course) he had for his birthday at our house. 4!

Happy Birthday big boy!

Smiling with his lightsaber cake! He tends to over do it, lol!

The "babies" playing. Ryan, Sam & Mayci.
All pooped out after his party! Actually, we all ended up napping after the party that day!

Avery's little birthday banner. We hung it at the park but I did not get a picture :-(

Vegging out on mom & dad's bed this morning. We all slept in past 8 - yay!
