Busy, busy!

We have just been plugging away lately! I finally got my fabric to start Maddi's nursery items and I am busy getting started with that. It's so exciting to think of the end result of having everything handmade just the way and style that I want them, however making a full nursery set is also a bit daunting! I will be sure to keep everyone posted on my progress!

The kids are great and looking forward to Joe's upcoming fall break next week. The weather has dramatically cooled this week and it's been sooooo nice to turn our AC off. This is day 2 of having not turned it on at all. The windows are open, the fresh air is flowing (and the dust, haha) and I won't be crying over the electric bill anymore this year.

This is a busy month for us. We have Jay's mom's birthday (nana) as well as Avery's and Jay's and Halloween. I have been trying to get started on things early so aside from the bedding, I am working on party stuff and Halloween costumes and then it will be done! We'll be buying Joe's costume, I think and I have one to alter for Avery and Mayci is going to be a Halloween Ballerina, of which I have most the stuff ready for. This past week, I made Joe & Avery some treat bags. I will make one for Mayci as well since she has been carrying Avery's around, lol!

Well, off to continue cutting quilt squares...more to come later. Hope everyone is doing good!
Making cake last week!
