Anyway, things are going well here at the Fisk home. I did mean to post after Mayci's one year dr. appointment. She is 19.5 lbs. and 29 3/4 inches. That is 25th percentile for weight and 75th for height. The dr. said she will probably be a tall girl. It's funny because Avery is the opposite! How could it be that my boy be short? Let's hope he has a growth spurt at some point! She is doing just great. She's adjusted well to life without bottles and still goes to bed at 7 and gets up around 7. She is such a good girl. She is well on her way to walking and each day seems to get braver. She will walk up and down our hallway holding onto the wall and has taken up to 15 steps on her own! Lots of times she will sit down after and clap, she is very proud. She is babbling alot. She loves music and will try to sing twinkle twinkle or the Barney song when you do. She also signs all done and more and we are working on others. The only other "words" she says are mama and dada and she makes a bark sound and we THINK she has said dog and ball.
The boys are great. Jay's training in Tucson still and he likes it although he is worn out when he gets home on Thursday night. Joe still continues to do well at reading and is looking forward to his 8th birthday the end of this month. He is always patiently (not really) waiting to lose his 2nd tooth. Avery is great. He has been a really good boy lately! We've been working on manners and he is doing so great understanding the right way to ask for things and that whining will get him nowhere! Today, Jay took Avery to the driving range in our neighborhood, they had so much fun. He loves sports.
The weather has been great for this time of year (knock on wood). It's been in the 80's I would say and there seems to be a cool breeze each day or in the case of a few of the past days, a crazy wind! It's nice though and we are enjoying it while we have it.
I too, have been busy. I decided this past week that I am really going to pick things up with my Announcement and Invitation business. I guess I have never mentioned too much about it because frankly, I just wasn't feeling it and wasn't making the time to get excited about it. Meanwhile, I love my creative outlets and am always looking for things to do around the house. I decided I was ready and after a call from a friend regarding a craft fair at her church and an unexpected card order, I knew it was time! With that being said, I worked all week on a new name and logo and will be revealing everything soon! Also, mark your calendars for the craft fair/boutique. It is April 25th at The Grove church in Gilbert. They will be having a bouncer for the kids and there will be several exhibitors there. Since my product is not fully tangible (another thing I often struggle with), I will also be offering some other craft items to include 2 different types of photo blocks/cubes and a couple other things!
This was a little scrappy page that AVERY made. We were looking through scrapbooks after going the zoo a couple weeks ago and he declared that he wanted to make one..so, he did. It was so hard not getting involved except for some gluing that he let me do! He is going to keep this with all his memorable moments!
Here are a few pics from the past couple weeks. And, a great weekend to you all!

Trying to walk!
Mama's Mess Maker
This is the "before" of a little mirror I have had FOREVER. Seriously, not sure where it came from or how long I've been hanging on to it!
And, into a pretty new mirror for Mayci's room!
Playing...
Mayci got this adorable little doll from my friend, Rebecca and her family for her birthday. Rebecca took the time to make it all from scratch and she is beautiful! Verdict still out on name. Avery wants Martha so that may be it!
And, our little one year old.

These are one of the two types of photo blocks I will be making. The are all customized with photos on distressed wood, I really like them! These particular ones are brown with sepia photos and are going to make a great addition to my entertainment center! I'll be spelling out children's names, family names, grandma/grandpa, and numerous other things!
