Well, a quick post before I get off to bed. Mayci got her first haircut today (well, it's 12:30am so I guess it was yesterday). I've been struggling with this for awhile because I knew that a haircut would make her look more grown up and I am just not ready to let go of my baby girl into a little girl...
Despite that, it was time. Her hair was hanging in her face and was uneven in the back, even though I did trim it a tiny bit months ago. She looks adorable though with her little bob & bangs. We will certainly still be doing all the bows & hair accessories but at least now, I don't have to pull it out of her face the second she wakes up in the morning.
She did great. We ended up at Snip Its after checking one other shop that was more girl oriented that went out of business. She was upset at 1st to sit in the chair but then she saw the bubbles, which she loves. After that, she had her first sucker! She was so proud because she always sees brother eating them but has never had one of her own.

This week, I was making a little list when I put this down for a moment on the end table & Mayci snatched it up and started "writing"...it was so cute!

OMG! They are just too cute! And how opposite can two children be? Miss Mayci is adorable and Mr. Avery is hilarious, as usual.
Confession time...I haven't trimmed Anya's hair yet, so you're brave.
