There is a time for everything.

Late last night, Jay's grandmother, Mama Margie, went home to be with the Lord in heaven.

I have not mentioned much in our blog posts about her condition the past month or so, but it had greatly worsened with an infection that her body was not able to fight off. She's been in hospice care the last couple weeks and went peacefully to join her husband, Daddy Jay late last night.

We'd been to see her last weekend as well as yesterday and she had stopped eating and drinking and her breathing became more and more labored. It was hard to see her this way and although she was not in any pain, it is nice to know she is in a much better place right now.

Mama Margie, Jay's dads mom, came to Arizona a couple years ago to live here from Missouri. I am so glad that I had an opportunity to get to know her and that the kids did as well. She was a very loving woman, she loved having her great-grandkids around, and just loved little Mayci Jean! Mom Margie loved the color red, cole slaw and dogs..just a few weeks ago she was begging to get a little dog in her nursing facility! She had a real sweet tooth and would often be caught having cookies for breakfast!
We will miss you, Mama Margie - you will forever be loved and remembered.

I will leave off with this, knowing our grandma is definitely at peace right now in His Kingdom with her husband once again -
"There is a time for everything, And a season for every activity under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; A time to embrace and a time to refrain, A time to search and a time to give up, A time to keep and a time to throw away, A time to tear and a time to mend, A time to be silent and a time to speak, A time to love and a time to hate, A time for war and a time for peace." –Eccliastes 3:1-8
