I thought I would post some pictures of Mayci's room and her actual birthday where we went to the zoo (thanks Nana!). Avery wanted to make cupcakes for her birthday too after the zoo and we realized that we were out of eggs...thanks Steph for hooking us up with some eggs (delivery & all)!

We are doing well. Last week was an adjustment in having Jay gone. Having painted all the week before, I was tired and had a headache almost all week straight. It was also a hard week with Mayci turning one! I got rid of all formula and bottles too so it's straight milk and cups for our little girl, which she is doing great with. We are starting to wean from the pacifier, she really did not have it much the past couple days at all so we figure she really doesn't need it.

I do not like looking back on a week and feeling like I really didn't accomplish much of anything besides getting the house cleaned but I need to learn we all have those weeks and that this is a new week coming!

It's starting to get hot here....fast! We have been walking every day that we can since I can't really go to the gym lately. So, we get out early and enjoy the nice weather while getting some exercise!

This picture was Mayci at 10 months old taken at a park...my father in law added selective coloring to her bow, which I think is really cute.

And, my mother in law took this one when we were there visiting after church a couple weeks ago...

Playing at the park..in the sand for the first time!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Mayci on her birthday morning, opening her Barney. She loves Barney and I do not. haha. I never thought I'd really have to face the Barney thing but what's a mom to do!?

Having some more cake!

Fun at the zoo!

Avery reading his map to figure out where to go! It's funny b/c he wore his rhino shirt to the zoo and all he talked about all morning was seeing the rhinos. The end of the day came and we had not yet seen them so we had to go clear to the other side of the zoo to make sure we saw the rhinos! He was out for just a minute and then walked over to where we couldn't see him, we got there in the nick of time!
I made these little korker bow ponytail holders for Mayci this week. They are so easy and are just adorable on! Stay tuned for haircut news...I think it's coming soon, here hair is just too wild!

And, her room! I have a couple little items to finish up for it, but it's pretty much complete and we are loving it!
