This weekend, Avery went to his friend, Teddy's birthday party at Jeepers Creepers. He and his buddy, Evan, had a fun time playing around. It's funny how at this age, you don't even need the ride/game to really function for them to think it's fun! They played this one basketball game where they just stood in the basket part and made baskets for a long time! Avery told me that night that basketball is his favorite sport because he likes shooting hoops and that when he gets bigger he will play on a team at P.J.'s (cousin) school. Sounds like a plan! Although I should say that today he told me golf is his favorite sport! Speaking of which, I forgot to mention in my last post that Jay and Avery went to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range in our neighborhood last week, they had soo much fun and Avery has asked every day to go again!
The weather is already starting to get warm around here! I am already not liking it much! Today, we went to the park and I thought nothing of putting Avery in pants when really he could have been wearing shorts. Oh, how hot it will be before we know it!
The rock....Avery found this rock while walking with daddy recently. He wanted to paint it so paint it we did! The color he picked was black...then, Avery wanted to put it by our door so everyone could see it. No problem except a black rock by the front door where people enter your home does not sound so appealing! So, I jazzed it up a little...he helped with the modge podge and did not seem to mind!

The infamous face of Avery...every time I ask to take his picture this is what I get or if I have the camera out, he poses and asks that I take his picture with this face...oh,and the shirt? He will not take it off! It's his speedracer shirt and it's skin tight! I keep putting it in the "to be put away pile" and it keeps coming back! Next it goes in the garage...

Yes, I let her down to play! It killed me but it's all I can do to keep her from jumping/wiggling out of the stroller these days. She wants to be where the big kids are!

Some new bows I made for Mayci. This lighting made them look peach, but they are really pinks, blues & browns.
