"Bike" Riding...

Avery has a new found fascination with "bike" riding! When at WalMart the other day, he tried out all the bikes outside and then decided he wanted to go for a bike ride when we got home. Okay, sure. Only problem is, he doesn't have a bike! But, he calls his big wheel a bike, so that worked just fine and really, we will stick with that for awhile. I am very proud of him though! He does great pedaling and stearing and is just a very coordinated boy! Mayci likes riding in her little car that Avery got when he was one. She just loves following brother and if we get too far from him she reaches out her hands. They like to ride across the street to the grassy area that actually has nice grass (not dry & hard) and play around. Avery rolls down the hill and Mayci well until today, doesn't really like to move in the grass. She got brave today though and thought she would crawl down the hill...pretty amusing stuff. Avery is also quite the little cook. He is always asking to bake something. I encourage it because it keeps him busy for a little bit and I feel that he will make a great husband some day! Today, he woke up asking to make muffins so we had nice warm muffins for breakfast! We made Cranberry Orange muffins as I had some cranberries in the freezer that I wanted to use up..they are yummy! A couple other little comments about Avery, I do not like to just focus on one of the three, but he is just at such an age that everything out of his mouth cracks me up! The other night, we were cooking some chicken on the grill and he was playing outside and then came in and he and Mayci were playing. When I walked by, Mayci wanted me to pick her up so I did and walked into the kitchen. I hear him say "Mayci, Mayci, where are you" and the next thing I know he comes in the kitchen and says "Awww, why'd you take my baby"? That night, after dinner, he also surprised me. We were heading in to the baths and I told him to meet me in the bathroom and was putting a few things away in the kitchen. I go in the bathroom a minute later and he is completely undressed and on the potty! He has been taking his shirt off by himself for awhile now but not usually his pants..he got the button and everything. I am so proud of my big boy. On to updates on J & M - Joe lost his first tooth this week! We will not see it until tomorrow, but I guess it is one of his top front teeth? Stay tuned for pictures. And Mayci? Just adorable as always! She is the happiest little, Elmo and macaroni loving little girl I could ask for!

Here is Mayci in her first nightgown! How funny, huh?
Love those lashes
This is what she does with her feet when they touch grass!

Yeah, he likes to take his shirt off and run around...
