Well, we are officially a week into summer and it's going well. The weather has been unseasonably cool for Arizona this time of year and we've barely reached 100. It's been nice for the kids to be out playing a lot and enjoying the yard! On the flip side, it's been very windy, which puts a glitch in this girls spraypainting! I have many projects in progress/on the list and there have been very few days that the conditions have allowed. I did want to share this quick little makeover I did though...
Being that we had to buy some window blinds and other various items that were more pressing, I decided to do a cheap and quick little makeover on these guys for now, rather than buy new. I actually liked how they turned out! Basically, I just roughed them up a bit with some sandpaper so the spraypaint would stick, then I hit them with some Rust-oleum (I have recently learned this is THE best spraypaint out there).
It truly works way better than the other stuff!
