Hope that everyone has had a good past week! I haven't meant to be so absent, there is really no good reason. I have been keeping busy but nothing too exciting! I've been continuing with sewing stuff for the baby and just can't wait to get started on the nursery bedding, which will hopefully be soon..need to get the fabric and stuff.

Last week, Avery started his story time at our local library and it was fun. He really enjoyed the songs & storytimes but most of all, he was excited to go through the little igloo door that they have at the library. Whenever we go to the library, which is often, he wants to go into it but it is locked except for storytime...it was so fun to see the expression on his face!

I also started my bible study last week, which is on Thursday mornings. It is entitled "Lord, Change My Attitude", it's a great study thus far and I am looking forward to the change, lol!

Here are some recent pics of stuff I've been working on for the babe and our Mayci girl.

Bibs...this was the first one I did. It's okay! I have done a couple others since then too, I just need to get some diff buttons for the closure.

These are my favorite things ever! I saw these made recently and just fell in love. I love baby gowns and knew I had to make them. This is the first one I did and I closed it with a ribbon, which, after making made me think could be dangerous for baby's little feet so I am doing the others with elastic. I have made 2 more, I just need to add the elastic to them, which I picked up more of tonight! The best part about this gown is that it was made from a baby t-shirt I had and the paisley print is from an old nightgown of mine that was in my goodwill pile! Gotta love that.
The bottom.
Lastly, this is a little outfit that I embellished of Mayci's. She'd had this skirt but really nothing to go with it and I had this tank that was my niece's (who is now 18 years old!) that had a little stain by the collar. I took some fabric that I had lying around that had the aqua in it and added the little rosettes to the shirts and coordinating flower applique to the skirt. It was cute! Of course, no outfit would be complete without a matching hair bow.

And my little princess all dressed up for church last Sunday. She was wearing these new shoes we had bought a day or two before. We were at the store and passed by them, not even really looking when they must have caught her eye. She wanted to put them on, so I did. I didn't really intend to buy them but she freaked at the check out so of course I did ;-) They are adorable purple shoes and I've been wanting some purple ones! They are her favorite shoes right now, it's cute how into shoes that she is...such a girl!
