6 months old!

Seriously? 6 months? How did that happen? I was sitting at my sewing machine on Wednesday 6/23 and could vividly remember sitting at my sewing machine on 12/23 overly pregnant and miserable and just hoping I would get through Christmas, lol. Well, Maddi had other plans and I was in labor a few short hours later. I just cannot be any more thankful for our amazing gift from God. Maddi just melts my heart. She is all smiles and just so precious. I feel so lucky to be her mom. I love watching Joe, Avery & Mayci and how they interact with her. The past 6 months have been so special and we can't wait to see each new milestone!

This past month, Maddi has tried a little rice cereal & bananas on a few occasions. She's not thrilled but it's a start. It's just not something I'm pushing. She's also had a cup a couple times when we've been out in really hot weather. I actually got her a new one this week but nobody can seem to get anything out of it so the suction is off or something!

This next week, she'll be taking her first family vacation to California and will visit the beach for the first time! Yay! Pictures are sure to come.
