Our little Maddi...

First off, I wanted to post some new pics of our little 6 week old! It's crazy that she can be 6 weeks old already! Most of you know that we've been struggling with her a little bit with some colic issues. Well, despite the change for the better we saw in her after switching formula, she has still been very fussy. So, we took another trip to the dr. today. They believe she has some reflux issues going on so she is now on Zantac and they said that it can take awhile for the formula to really take full effect. They tested her stool said she was still showing a bit of a formula allergy. Hopefully that is still the old stuff in her system. We will re-evaluate in a week. Needless to say, it's been a little tough. I have never had to deal with any issues with Avery and Mayci and I guess we take that for granted as parents. I realize these things are not major and am thankful for that however, I just feel bad that she is so fussy all the time and seems to be in pain at times with her gassiness.

So, we will see how this week goes! This past week, I was busy working on some nursery stuff. I found a cheap changing table on Craigslist so we have added that to the nursery and I am really excited. After some paint touch ups, it's looking good! There is still a lot to be done but my pockets are time are so small that when I do have it, I feel like I need to clean the house or do laundry.
