What an exciting end to the year and wonderful beginning we have had! I will start by saying that I apologize for our blog right now! I am in the process of trying to update it and it's just a mess...things saved that shouldn't have been, etc. It seems every time I start doing something with it, I get interrupted! That is life though, right? It will get done eventually.
On Christmas Eve at 3:05 p.m. we welcomed Madilyn Allene! The labor pains started when I woke in the morning and we were at the hospital by about 10:30am, it was so great! I am still surprised at how smoothly and quick everything went. We are so very blessed. Even luckier, the hospital had just lifted the ban on children visiting so we were able to have Joe, Avery & Mayci come see their new baby sister. Even better, Jay brought Christmas to the hospital and the kids opened gifts etc. on Christmas morning with me! I will never forget this year. I was so worried about it and it just could not have been more perfect. The kids had a good time with their Nana & Pa and Maddi is just a joy.
Well, I am off to get a little sleep before she wakes up to eat but I will get things updated soon and post some pics, although most of you have seen our beautiful girl already.
