Well, again a long lapse since our last post. I've been having problems uploading pictures so it's got me frustrated. I hope it works tonight. Anyway, it's been pretty eventful round here! We had a great visit with my nephew, Chris last week. Avery just loved having him here. He calls him his "friend", he doesn't quite understand the cousin thing too much yet and he just would keep saying he loved "his friend".

We didn't do a WHOLE lot of exciting stuff but Chris got quite a bit of hiking in and on Tuesday we went up to Sedona for the day. We found one place off the beaten path that we picniced at and then we headed to Slide Rock State Park. Chris went off to do some hiking and checking out the larger waterfall areas there while the kids and I hung out and played in the water. The weather was 85 degrees in Sedona and it was kind of overcast. The water was only 58 degrees! Mayci wasn't very interested but Avery had a blast. We are hoping to get back there as a family this summer as I think that Jay & Joe would enjoy it as well. We were sad to say good-bye to Chris but we are looking forward to seeing him in MA in just a couple weeks!

In other exciting news...we are pregnant! We are so very excited to be welcoming a new member to the Fisk Family this Christmas! As most of you know, we were not trying nor sure whether we would have another little babe, but God answered our question for us this time! I am 9 1/2 weeks and my due date is actually Christmas Day! What a true blessing. I went to the dr. a couple weeks ago and we got an ultrasound picture, the heartbeat is strong & everything looks great. I'll post that soon. We are also going to leave the sex as a surprise this time! We decided since this is our last, we would make it fun and since we have stuff for either sex anyway, there's not too much preparation. The kids are excited. Joe doesn't say much but Avery has been talking about it a lot. It's so fun to see because he was still pretty young when I was pregnant with Mayci. He is funny about names because we asked him what he wanted to name his new baby. He had told us "abby cadabby", she is a character on Sesame Street. Okay. Then, on Sunday, we went to a church event and the next day he told me that his friend Aiden, had a little brother named Isaac and "Isaac is a nice name, huh mom?" Out of the blue. And again at the grocery store on Monday, a mother was yelling at her son, Landon. "Mom, that's a nice name." It's adorable. I think that Mayci will do well also, she loves babies so much these days. Every time she sees a baby or a baby carrier, she points and says "hi" and starts waving. Then she just looks and looks at the baby. We can only hope that sticks around til she has one here, haha.

The kids have been doing well. Joe is on break and he and Avery have been doing a lot of playing. They are both looking forward to vacation. Mayci grows up more and more each day, it seems! She is very social and is always saying "hi" to random people in the store, it's cute. She has learned how to drink from a straw these past couple weeks and is starting to talk more. She now says dog, ball, quack/duck, mama, dada, moo, baby, hi and she'll make dog sounds.

Hope everyone is great. We're off to Massachusetts in a week & 1/2...I'll be bringing the computer so hopefully they'll be updates to report or maybe I'll even blog again before we leave!

Mayci had fun in Sedona, she most enjoyed sitting on the rocks and playing in the dirt!
